Can we see some standard designs to choose from?
We do not have standard designs, every house is unique and to your requirements. This also affords us the freedom to incorporate, for example, local stone as an external finish if you require.
What is the cost per square metre of your houses?
As specifications and site conditions vary greatly it's not feasible to give m2 costs for our houses. We think - and believe you'll agree - all that really matters is how much your project is going to cost in total, not the cost per square metre.
Of course at the design and planning stages, we'll give you an indication of the likely costs of implementing specific features or ideas.
And once the specification is finalised, so is the total cost - remember we work to a fixed price quotation.
What is the typical length of time for a project?
Anything between 4 and 6 months depending on the complexity and size of the design. However, a typical 200m2 2 storey house would take approximately 4-5 months.
Obviously there are often other factors to consider - for instance if we have to arrange demolition of an existing house on the plot there's an additional time element there.
But on every project we'll agree on a specific time scale.
Do you build extensions?
No.
Do you build basements?
Yes.
Can you offer a wind and watertight kit building which I could complete myself?
No.
I know someone who can build the foundations. Will you build on foundations which have not been constructed by yourselves?
No.
